1, 2, 3…Meltdown - Exploring Emotions & Self-Regulation

Humans are complex mammals that feel a variety of emotions and each person feels and expresses them in different ways. We need to use various coping tools to manage our emotions and find ways to release them.

Research shows that people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) have deficits in the executive functioning part of the brain, the part that helps to control and regulate our emotions.

Join us as we learn some positive support strategies on how to teach our neurodivergent young people about the emotions they are feeling, how to work through them and how to find strategies for their coping toolbox.
