Meet Becky

Founder of Aspire Community & Developmental Services

Woman at desk with motivational quote and plant

Becky’s journey to Aspire Services began back in her elementary school days, when she volunteered with twin boys with autism, and found an early passion for helping others.

She went on to work at a summer camp for children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities. It was there that Becky discovered the field of Developmental Services, but more importantly she learned to:

  • Appreciate the small things

  • Laugh (it’s good for you!)

  • Include others, because having fun is for everyone

She also learned that people are capable - even if they have challenges, exceptionalities or varying needs - and that she wanted to help people grow in confidence, gain independence and live a fulfilling life as the best version of themselves.

As a Developmental Services Worker, Becky has supported people with autism and other neurodivergencies in various capacities. She has worked with young children and teens in early behavioural intervention, behaviour programming, school classrooms, and consulted with families providing support and strategies.

Aspire Services was born in 2019 from Becky’s passion for helping others, with the goal to empower young people and a vision for those with exceptionalities to be as independent as possible.

MISSION

At Aspire Community & Developmental Services we empower neurodivergent young people to gain independence, connect with their community, and rise to their fullest potential.
