Using Visual Supports in a Visual World

We live in a very visual world and most of us use many different types of visual supports every single day. Street signs, recipe cards, alarm clocks, logos, to-do lists and calendars and agendas, are just a few of the common visuals we use to help us through our day.

Neurodivergent people & people with developmental disabilities are typically very visual learners, so let’s explore various types of visual supports that can be used to empower confidence and independence in our children, youth and young adults. We will learn about the benefits of using visual supports and how to modify and change the visuals so they can grow with our children.

Join us as we learn how to navigate our visual world!
